John Feinstein had Loyola #25, and Wichita State #21.
Is the Loyola woman the gal who writes for the Chicago Tribune? She didn't vote Loyola this week. Shannon something or other.

Creighton is undefeated including a top 15 win, yet there are still 5 one-loss teams in front of them. Tell me again how it takes some mysterious narrative to justify that resume at #10?
Last week WSU had 2 losses and was yet to beat anyone expected to even make the NIT.
This week, with a single NIT-ish victory tacked on, nearly half the pollsters have included WSU in their personal top 25s.
Yet somehow WSU is getting screwed or something. lol. This silliness just cracks me up.Last edited by Jamar Howard 4 President; December 12, 2016, 02:30 PM.

OU is going to win some games in the Big 12. None of us know exactly how the Big 12 race will go except they will have a high conference RPI. By March, it is reasonable and logical to surmise, the OU win will be a good win. If we continue to win, it will most likely be a good resume builder. For anyone to make more or less from this win is not logical because of a lack of information. We will know more and be able to make better assumptions later in Jan./Feb.

It's still the first half of December for crying out loud.

I always get a kick out of the P5 fan logic (not saying that's you, per se) that says "well duh, they're not ranked because they haven't played anybody", when it's still non-con season and a substantial proportion of the T25 haven't... wait for it... played anybody themselves.
Besides, I'm really happy for our friends up in Omaha and their representation in the AP Poll. In only 61 more weeks of polling where they're in the AP top 25, and WSU is not, they will equal WSU's total number of weeks ranked in the AP top 25. When it comes to the AP top 10 it might take a little longer though, since they're currently in week number five all-time in that category, whereas WSU has been there 63 weeks, all-told. Oh, and further congrats are in order for the Bluejays on their highest ranking ever this week at AP #9. Not sure when they will ever hit AP #1 or #2 like WSU has, but like the little engine that could they sure can give it their best effort.
