So that accounts for the polls.

The game was played in Oklahoma City, not Norman, but it still came in a road environment against a pretty good team. Gregg Marshall has established a marvelous culture at Wichita State, which is allowing his team to weather the losses of Fred VanVleet and Ron Baker reasonably well....
I rewarded Wichita State for that win in Oklahoma, and I felt compelled to recognize Notre Dame for playing Villanova so tough in what looked like a de facto road environment in Newark. That was the Irish’s first loss of the season, but their biggest wins have come by over Colorado and Northwestern (neutral) and Iowa (home). So their case to be ranked is hardly open-and-shut."

I'll take the KenPom relative comparison of the two teams over the JH4P / pollster comparison any day.

And this after i did you a favor and caused someone to say something nice about you.

Polls are not analytical and are biased to start with. He said nothing incorrect about how pollsters are going to vote.
Preseason, CU was 22/23 in the polls. We were 34/37 because many felt we would have a problem recovering from the loss of Fred and Ron. So, there already was a good gap of 12 to 14 to start the season. Since that time, CU beat a ranked (and still ranked) team and we lost to 2 ranked teams. Our best win has come against an OU team that was ranked (vote-wise) the same or less than us at the time we beat them. I was a little surprised that we were ranked ahead of Michigan St in both polls last week. Not that we shouldn't be, but then, we should have also beat them.
rpiforecast.com also does a Live-Rpi. Currently, CU is #3 and we are #63. Gee, go figure.
