Austin can shoot a lot better than Odum. He has the same physical appearance and the will to win. Just wait until he has a few real games under his belt. I think he has the chance to be special.

As far as vitals go, doesn't he compare to Odum? As far as ability, when Odum was a freshman starter he played a pivotal role knocking us out of the tournament and into the NIT. Although that did turn out very well for us.
I really hope he's more Bobby Sura than Jake Odum, but if not, I'd be happy with a 6'5" point. That'd help on the boards (if he goes to the glass)."I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Getting back to the comparison between them, Odum had an extra year of practice and maturity, Reaves has the extra talent and skills. I think the latter is good news for AR's upside as a Shocker, and I'm delighted WSU has him on board.
