Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

P.S. I'm not Tim or related to him.
I do not see him listed in the rankings.

So he did his own bracketology for a number of years as TK's BB (BBB abbreviation on the matrix site) and this year he is part of a new site? (bigplay.com) OK, makes sense why I couldn't find him.

I will say, his overall projections this year look reasonable, although having Georgia Tech AND ISUr both in and WSU out is really strange.

              Georgia Tech
              16-11 (7-7 ACC)
              RPI 76

Checked in with the Phog and while this is true, I also have never seen WSU given as much respect as they are getting. Biggest complaint over there is that we are always underseeded and that is unfair to the teams that play us and it wouldn't be fair if we played so close to home in Tulsa. Didn't even see a little brother reference.

Not a fair comparison as Doug had an ankle injury that severely limited him his rookie season.

Would anyone want to be a 1 seed, play a 8/9 seed (that is a 3/4 seed by ability), and the 8/9 seed is playing within a 2 hour drive of its fan base? (A faithful fan base that travels really well.)

                      • And don't forget, bolt -- a #8-9 that knows it can beat you and looks forward to the chance to do it again. Definitely not the ideal opponent.

Edit: Also, very intereesting comparison involving 2014 McDermott, im4. Striking similarity to Baker, although Ron's ball handling is obviously much superior. Given Ron's skills on defense, this may bode well for his future, especially if he gets with someone that plays actual team basketball (although he does seem to have the advantage right now of a coach who appreciates where he's coming from). Just two things: 1) We've obviously sold Little McD short on athleticism -- he managed to block an NBA shot; and 2) How the heck is Ron only shooting 60% at the line? I know 20 FTs is a small sample, but still.

All you have to do is watch to realize @GoShockers: are tourney worthy. They are a team others don't want to see in their bracket.

How does a WSU fan even remember something like that?

                              • I love Haslametrics team breakdowns. He currently has us 8th in the country and in a 6 seed slot and ranked 10th in "momentum" which is a measure of recent performances.

The goal of Haslametrics is to provide unique statistical insight and to offer predictive analysis based on teams' prior performances in a given season.

Also interesting. ISU is ranked 8th from the bottom of DI in Momentum
