      Is Allen gonna be a 2 or a 3?

He is quite a bit smaller than Washpun I believe. And as choida points out there will be a great number of options at the guard position.

Ty Taylor at 4.3 assists per 100 possessions; Landry Shamet at 5.7; Zack Bush at 6.5; and JR Simon at 9.4. I know the last two are walk-ons, but I don't want to cherry-pick the statistics. CF is 3.5 per 100 possessions.

I was hoping for improvement, but Evan was exactly the same player as a Senior as he was as a Freshman.
Next year Kelly HAS to learn how to finish at the rim. It does you no good to be able to get there if you can't convert through contact. Especially if you're going to shoot 60% from the line.
I thought Nurger had the look of a typical Euro stretch four last year, but his 0-fer from 3 for the season kind of squashed that idea. The lack of size for us next year probably makes it mandatory that he is exclusively a 5.

Willis' best position is power forward not center, but he'll probably have to play only center at WSU, just like Grady, who is also a forward. Wamukota's lack of development also killed us. It forced us to hardly ever be able to use Shaq and Grady at the same time because they had to spell each other. If Bush could have provided any productive minutes, Anton could have more often played his natural position.
I think the Shocks best hope for power forward is ERIC HAMILTON. He has the size and ability. We'll have to see if he can develop the trust of Marshall. His decision making seems to be lacking at this stage of his career. I bet now he wishes he had red-shirted this season.
I think Marshall was hoping that ty and Eric would redshirt this season and both refused. This may have gotten them into the dog house. Getting out maybe difficult. I hope something can be worked out I like the potential of both. But it wouldn't be a suprise to me if one or both leave. Following marshalls suggestions is probably the best way to go if you want to stay.

Taylor needs to redshirt if he's still on the team. The minutes just aren't there and he needs more time in the system.

If TT stays, he'll be a PG. however, I expect Connor and Daishon (JUCo PG) to be our PG's next year. Plus he's sat at the end of the bench. Plus there's the notion that Shamet will play some PG.

Reading the t a leaves, I'd say TT may well leave to get more pt elsewhere. I'm hoping he stays, but he might need to consider a RS year if he stays.

Sorry Dan, I was crafting a response and you beat me to it. I totally agree.

Bowles, Henderson and Holland were his attempts to do that. Cant say how Bowles would have worked out if he'd had the chance, but that was taken away from him. The others might have developed, but neither had the poise/mindset to earn time in their first year. The second year might have shown something different, but they took that away from themselves.

Youuwould think that Marshall would have played him some at point this season if that was his future expectations. But he didn't not even in mop up situations. I could be wrong but that's my thought.

Washpun 6'1" 175; Taylor II is 6'2" 154. I was surprised. Come Kerry! Make it happen with Ty, Markis, Landry, Reaves.

Wow. Good at math. I have one for you 6:1.

Honestly, I think the fact that the walk ons lead that group in this category is a reasonable indication that the assists per 100 possessions is not a valuable stat.

                            • How about only five turnovers in 450 minutes? Is that stat important?

                              • Lots of good and bad conjecture in this thread!

A 6-9, 215 MM at the 4 is ideal. I'm pretty sure he's already 6-9. Hopefully he can pack on the pounds. Kelly will also see time at the 4. Hamilton might.

6-5 LS is going to start at one of the guard positions. CF will start at the other. Lots of options for the third guard, and hopefully there's reliable fourth option.

Brown and Allen will see plenty of minutes at the 3 and will be very, very good. Allen might play the 2 depending on others contributions.

Shaq will start at the 5. Wills will come off the bench. Nurger will be the third option.
