I hope IndSt. beats IllSt. If for no other reason than to get Muller out of St. Louis. Not to mention his merry gang of thugs.
And there is ISUr Head Gangster "P.D. Muller" leaving the MVC Tournament Luncheon letting everyone know where his team ranks next year in the conference.
Brand new article by Suellentrop more or less says that 3G missed out on the award because even though he garnered the most first place votes, 17 out of the 45 voters didn't even have him in their top two.
I despise this conference.
Yup. Those voters should have their voting rights revoked. That voter from SIU that didn't vote Marshall (or Hinson since he wasn't allowed to vote for him) in their Top 3 literally cost Marshall the award. His 3 points would have tied it. Pretty obvious he voted for other people to help Hinson

Oh Gregg hurt my feelings when he wouldn't come on my radio show during the Final 4. I'll never vote for him again. 3rd grade mentality gets tiresome. Some of these beat writers should be ashamed of themselves.

I think 4 of those non-Top2-votes came from WSU people who couldn't vote for him, so it isn't quite 17...but your point is still valid. Ridiculous! When the SIU beat writer didn't even include Gregg is his Top 3, I wondered if something like this could happen. Sure enough, it did.

Hefferman leaving Marshall completely off his ballot is likely what handed Hinson the award. So by not voting for Gregg, he effectively voted for Barry.
How does the voting for COY work exactly? I understand the local media can't vote their guy number one, but what are the other components to the process/tabulation?

Voters list their Top 3. Top vote gets 3 points, second gets 2, third gets 1. Most points wins it.
