"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

      Vanderbilt is #22?

No one else is even close on defense. Shocks now ranked 9th overall by KenPom -- ranked higher than they're seeded. How often do you see that? Way to go, committee! Glad you let them sneak into the field.

        • On ESPN scores page the video up is about Jay-Z asking about the Shockers for his bracket. Hope this link works:

Jay Williams joins Mike & Mike to share a story about how Michael Kyser of Atlanta Records and Jay Z called Williams for advice on their NCAA tournament brackets, specifically inquiring about Wichita State.

2013 Pitt finished 11th in KenPom as only an 8 seed. Not quite ranked higher than their seed, but close. I also remember a little something about the team that beat them that year.

2007 Tennessee finished #7 as only an 11 seed. 2008 Davidson finished #7 as only a 10 seed. I think those two teams are the all-time leaders of outliers in that regard.

2016 WSU could very well finish the season and join this, um, "interesting", club.
