        • To all you saying Palm did well, just stop it. He stated multiple times the last 10 days that WSU wouldn't get a bid even with a loss in the MVC Finals. He said they had to win St. Louis. Well, WSU went on to lose in the semis, yet received a bid. Palm only moved WSU up in the last 48 hours. He never had them in the field until well after they played their last game.

Also, to be fair, both Palm and Lunardi were wrong about WSU. I've been saying Lunardi was too high for a while. That said, I just did a rough check, and it appears Lunardi once again did better overall than Palm. If I'm correct about that, it would be the 6th consecutive year that Lunardi has beaten Palm.

Palm deserves no special praise today.

You read it here folks! I'll be cheering our Shockers on to victory tomorrow night and hopefully into a deep run!

His teams were always fundamentally sound, team oriented, well conditioned, and ran both their offense and defense with great patience. I know of no coach whose teams competed against his, whether it be at Wichita State, Iowa, or Oregon State, who did not have great respect for him."—John Wooden

                • WSU up to KenPom #9 after tonight's win.

What? That doesn't matter now? Bracketology season is over?

What am I supposed to do now?

Offensive numbers must have finally started moving in the right direction?

What's funny is our adjusted defensive efficiency moved more than an entire point lower.

                        • Yea, defense absolutely killed it last night.

69 possessions, 50 points allowed against a team with a good offensive efficiency rating.

Our 70 point output on offense was just okay considering the tempo.

Somehow they dropped. Went from 80 to 81. I don't understand it but I think if we play like that offensively next game we'll have a good chance to pick up a victory.

You must've started watching in the second half.

While I agree that the offense was pretty terrible in the first half (credit where it's due to Vandy, and to the refs who had both teams playing horrible lineups), if WSU can scratch out 30 points in a half when they play crappy offensively, they will not lose very often. If they put two of those halves together, they are probably a .500 team against the NCAA field. If they have 1 half better than that, that average goes up dramatically. Two of those crappy 30 point halves is 60 points, which is more than WSU has given up since January, outside of a scrubby 99-68 beatdown of MSU. This team can win ugly, even against good teams. If we put together even 1 good offensive half this team can win pretty against good teams, and compete with any team.
