Lunardi said WSU resume was weak and not deserving of a 7 or 8. But he said he was seeding WSU as 7 or 8 based on his eye test and it would be unfair to seed them as a 11 or worse seed because you are punishing the lower seeded team by putting them against a team that was better than their seed [but I guess the counter point is that is exactly what the committee did with Kentucky]. So maybe u solve that dilemma by leaving WSU out - nobody will complain in the media.
OU AD basically said they would look at results of when a player was out and after he was back to compare differences. He said it basically used to break ties. You could make the argument that WSU didn't prove they were unbeatable with Fred.

Quotes from Marshall on the week of waiting, etc.
WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall discussed life on the NCAA Tournament bubble, and how his team is handling the wait in this week's men's basketball press conference. Read on for the transcript.
…On the "eye test" actually favoring his team this time around in the selection proccess.
"It's an unusual situation to be in for many reasons. That's why I say that you have to watch our team… even a night where we don't shoot the ball well – like UNI – we still competed. It was a high-level basketball game. They're playing very, very well, as everyone can see. We had our chances to win the game, many chances. We just didn't take advantage of them. They did.
I think the eye test is number one. Some people have a better eye for basketball talent from a team perspective…Others just go by strictly breaking down computer numbers, and others use higher-end numbers like analytics."

I agree with Coach that anyone with a set of eyes who watches D1 can see The Shocks are a worthy team.
He also says, "That's why I say that you have to watch our team..." & "They're (N. Iowa) playing very, very well, as everyone can see."
What makes me nervous about these obvious truths is who's watching the Valley?

George Washington plays today, Palm has them in his bracket, only 2 others do, but them losing would be great.
VCU and St. Bon play their games tomorrow. Both losing would be great for WSU on the bubble... if WSU is on the bubble.
Games to pay attention to.
