Im not sure I follow that logic. So they will agree that based on the resume the shockers are a 10 or 11 seed, but with the quality of a 7 or 8, and thus the fair solution is to simply leave them out?

I'm not saying it my logic, but I saw stupid logic like it happen in baseball. SWMO won the conference (but lost in first round of tournament), but didn't have an at-large resume because they scheduled only cupcakes. WSU finished second but had a at-large resume all though on the bubble. The SWMO AD (who was on the committee) made the argument that you could not just take the #2 over the conference winner, but should either take the #1 and #2, or neither. So they left WSU out.

Lesson: Don't expect anybody from the MVC conference or league officials to ever watch out for Wichita State. They are a bunch of buddy fkcures.

Texas Tech has earned it.

The ones I'm upset about: Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, South Carolina (assuming Michigan/Syracuse/Florida are safely out). Those 3 should not get in over WSU, Saint Mary's, Monmouth.

Lunardi stated that there should be another rule added to the NCAA Selection Committee that any team who is below 500 in league play (including both league and league tourney games) should not be eligible for the NCAA Tournament. The loss last night would move Texas Tech to 9-10 and would put them out with his suggested rule. I like his suggestion.
