I mean, they're 20-4 and they've lost 3 of their 4 games to KenPom top 17 teams. That's not bad.
I'd like to hear who you think should be a #1 seed. I bet I can poke holes in all their cases and it wouldn't be too difficult.
Anyway, there are going to be a lot of brackets busted no matter who is a 1 seed this year because there aren't any standout teams in college basketball. Everyone in the top 25 is basically interchangeable at this point.
By 19.
I dunno if any potential #1 seed has that nice of a quality loss on the resume.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Monmouth was the last at large team to make their field. The mid major teams always get screwed and nearly did here as well. Win vs USC, win at G'Town, win vs Notre Dame, win at UCLA.
Ranked #32 in RPI, 2-2 vs top 50, 4-2 vs top 100, 3 losses to 201+ RPI teams. Ok I get it they lost 3 bad games but at least all 3 games were on the road. How many ACC, SEC, ect teams lose on the road to garbage teams and have high seeds ? Take my beloved Kentucky for example losing at Auburn and at Tennessee yet Kentucky is still a 5 seed. You can argue that Monmouth's 4 best wins are just as impressive as Kentucky's top 4 wins in fact more impressive. Kentucky lost at UCLA but Monmouth won there. Kentucky best win is neutral vs Duke. Monmouth won at USC which was a better win based on the S-Curve they provided.
So how in the F is Monmouth the last team in ??????????????????????? They should be a higher seed the crap the mid major's put up with is pure garbage. You get the huge wins and still they give you no credit.
Where is Chattanooga ? No where despite a 22-3 record when they were making this field (Yes they lost last night but they built this before that loss) so a 22-3 team that had an RPI around 30 last night and they won AT Dayton their 14th ranked team...wtf are they supposed to 24-1 to get in ?
Yet Oregon State is 36........and where is Valpo ? They won at Oregon State but I guess losing 4 games is too many for a mid major and Oregon State who wins basically only at home and on dumbass fouls from half court gets in and not only gets in but gets an FN 9 seed WTF ?2014 RTS Fantasy Championship National Champion $200,000 (2460 teams)
