It is encouraging to see WSU listed as 28 on the S-Curve right now. Based on that, WSU would be a single digit seed today regardless of any bracket arrangement shenanigans the committee might pull. A 6, 7, or 8 would be their only options.

Quick question: Is this happening today or did it take place yesterday?
The linked Yahoo article is dated 2/10 and states '...meeting tomorrow and we will a mock seeding before we adjourn'. I'm just curious if the Indiana and Cal wins last night were already factored in? Or if WSU is likely to actually be #30 after those two results.-Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind-

By the way, to the extent that trying to schedule well matters, WSU stands out.
I just looked at KenPom's ratings (in which WSU is now #11, a bit ahead of the other teams in the .90xx range, and well behind #9 North Carolina and #10 West Virginia at .9185), and WSU's schedule strength rank is #18. There are only six other teams in KenPom's top 25 whose SOS ranks are in the top 100, with the next closest being Kentucky at #58 -- got that key game with The Flagship in there -- and Valpo at #61: not exactly two peas in a pod.Last edited by WSUwatcher; February 12, 2016, 04:22 PM.

I'd like to hear who you think should be a #1 seed. I bet I can poke holes in all their cases and it wouldn't be too difficult.
Anyway, there are going to be a lot of brackets busted no matter who is a 1 seed this year because there aren't any standout teams in college basketball. Everyone in the top 25 is basically interchangeable at this point.
