Maybe he was tossed out of the bar at which time his phone fell out of his pirate shirt and got run over by the van he spoke of. Thus no further insightful analysis.

I hope he's alright. He was spelling words and forming sentences like someone who may be having a mental breakdown of some kind.

Do you still need to get a loop?

Our little TV that me and the Mrs. have in the bedroom is actually an over the air little 19" HDTV. The signal is off rabbit ears with a little UHF loop, though I did run a coax to put the rabbit ears in a less conspicuous spot. It is amazing how many channels are available over the air thanks to all the subchannels. Lots of old TV shows and such.

KSAS/FOX, 24.1, comes in clear as a bell.

I just remember the commercials back in the 80s that talked about getting the loop so that you could get KSAS. Which, of course, had Major Astro, so it was an essential item for the non cable-ready TVs!

Ah, Major Astro. His KSAS days were high school and beyond for me, but I also remember (barely) his earlier days. Tom Leahy was a Wichita TV icon.

Yes. I remember him being more, uh, weathered.

I remember him as the Host and of course there was Rodney. Great to watch after a night of drinking beer and a bag of Taco Tico tacos bought just as they were closing for the night next to the Cedars.

I think the Host and Rodney was before my time, but I've certainly heard of them.
