I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and bet that most on here will trust Ron picking his shots rather than you. No offense.

Come on now. Ron's so quick with his release that he can catch if, turn to coach Marshall to see if it's okay to let fly and STILL get his shoulders turned before knocking it down.

BTW, he's crazy good at scoring! He has sooo many moves to get his shot. I really hope we get to see Fred, Conner, Ron, and Markis on the floor at the same time with Shaq. Those four could really spread the floor and get wide open with the big man setting screens or isolating in the middle.

I feel a little uncomfortable when a person with 10 posts or less begins to criticize our All American who has been our entire offense for a good portion of this young season. It makes me wonder how many games Shocker games he may have watched.

Yep. I think pretty highly of the Rebels, and I am predicting, but not hoping that ZB, MM, and sons will make 17 points together. I did not calculate CF into it. My bad, I didn't think he'd play.

You're right. Just hear me out. When you watch the game, look for him to take a shot after he's picked up his dribble in the post. It looks forced. I haven't seen him hit one yet. Watch he'll nail 4 of them against the Rebels just to prove me wrong. :bi_polo:

Like I said to Ashock: I haven't seem him hit this particular shot. But I agree with you. He's got skills, it's just like many on here, we pretend that perfection is attainable. He still contribute extraordinarily, but I hate watching him jack up this forced shot that hasn't gone in. Remember when KU and WSU played and Ron went across a screen, dribble once and nailed a three over Landen Lucas? It was the highlight, and turning point in the first half. Those "off the dribble" shots haven't been there for him so far. Still, he manages to get his. Like I said, it's more of a personal thing.

I watched both teams play. Both would have destroyed any shocker team ever. Basketball was different in that era. That's not meant to be a knock on your team.

My prediction for Wednesdays game is that the Rebs press a lot and cause turnovers. The Rebs interior passing is very good, and it helps that our big men can shoot from 15-17 ft as well as complete well timed passes to the wings when the defense gets sucked in. If we have to we'll start attacking the paint with our guards to draw fouls. McCaw is longer and much more athletic than either of your guards - and he is a mismatch for your forwards. I can't deny the experience and toughness Baker And VanVleet bring will pose a difficult challenge. Nwamu is built like a linebacker, but moves like a guard - He and Seegears would be challenged by Baker/VanVeleet at full strength but that doesn't seem to be the case. On top of that - Our second line is good enough to start for most programs, From the last 3 games the shockers played it looked like your second team was still pretty green. There will be no let up in intensity from the Rebs.

Rebs win 80-74, but don't worry too much. It won't be a bad loss for you.

Unfortunately, you still don't understand. Doubly unfortunately, we're all too lazy on a Sunday night to explain it to you.

So there will be this chasm of misunderstanding, and we all just have to live with it.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

You didn't think Frankamp would play on Wednesday, but you're a BIG Shocker fan. Where exactly is this rock under which you appear to reside?

Looks like we have our first MWC douchenozzle stopping by. If history is any indication he will certainly not be the last.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

He was able to remember a specific moment regarding Ron in the KU game though. Managed to remember hitting a 3 over Landen Lucas. That's some memory.

I'll be late to this I'm sure. I am probably the only one on this board to predict a loss, but you're wrong about your team and ours. You "guards" can easily be stopped, by a sophemore in Zach Brown who Is more athletic than anyone on your team. I don't know who your point will be, but let's be serious FVV is snatchin' the egg twice from him. The only way you'll ever stand a chance on the drive is if we foul you, but this "interior passing" you speak of, isn't going to account for your points. As long as FVV is in, the idea of your press getting a turnover is silliness. We may lose this game, but stop pretending like a single guy on you second line will start for WSU. Maybe Drake, but not here. You'll out rebound and shoot the foul line better. Stick to that.

Arrogant aura? lol. Do you even read your own prediction thread? 95% of posters are picking the shockers to win despite playing nothing close to quality basketball against any good teams this year. And I'm arrogant? I laid out point by point the rationale for my prediction. Why don't you tell me where I'm wrong? Which of the points I made was off-base?
