This is not a FF caliber team.
b) That's the biggest if. If he rehabbed well and can get that strength back quickly, then yay
c) His confidence was there before he got injured. Hopefully still there
d) True. He might be a bit behind with on court chemistry
e) I can't give up that FF dream. Lol

I'm sure stamina will be "affected" but I don't really think we would suit him up until he has the ability play and contribute. We will obviously redshirt him if he literally can't hold his own. The hope is that he can play when we put him back out there and I'm sure he has been working toward that end...to be able to play the moment he gets cleared. In other words, if there is any belief that he could come back, he's probably been riding a bike and doing whatever forms of exercise he can do for months. We aren't going to roll out some hobbled dude and burn his shirt if he isn't a guaranteed impact player. Just like Ron.

I believe another requirement for a "medical" redshirt, is that the injury must be "incapacitating," or in other words, "season ending." Meaning you cannot come back, have meaningful practices, and then decided the injury was season ending.
If Wil is correct, I think this means it has been determined that he can't comeback, or that there is no reason for him to come back.
As someone else mentioned, much different than Ron. Ron took significant minutes, and in which Ron was a significant upgrade. Landry will not see significant minutes, nor be a significant upgrade.

The most significant thing is not so much the extent of his progress, but that the decision is still TBD, which means that coming back is still a live possibility. As for Will Kunkel, he's a clown, but the problem with his report isn't what he reported -- which really wasn't beyond what anyone else has said or especially controversial -- but rather what people here are trying to read into it. Kunkel doesn't drink tea, so quit trying to read his tea leaves and just be patient. We'll find out about Landry whenever the time comes. Meanwhile, thanks for getting this back higher on page 1.
