My two cents, FWIW. If Landry is healthy and can play Shocker "Play Angry" basketball for any length of this year's schedule, Coach Marshall will not red shirt him (that is, of course, if Landry himself doesn't want the red shirt). 3G likes to win, and he builds his teams to compete in the tournament, not just the Valley.
A healthy Shamet come tournament time makes this team so much more dangerous, especially with the improvement we're seeing from Markis and Zach Brown's continued development. Not to mention Frankamp. The minutes will work themselves out because Marshall will start using his players based on matchups.
And come March, I see this team being seriously under-seeded much like Kentucky was in 2014 as we are having a similar season they did in 2013-2014 with high expectations and potential as a National Champion (they weren't saddled with injuries to key players but pre-season expectations had them ranked number 1 and numerous non-conference and conference losses doomed them to a number 8 seeding. We all know how that turned out.).
And I think we'll surprise and sorely disappoint some P5 teams on our way to the Sweet 16.
