BTW, and I know you don't want to hear this, but Connor is a 3rd year soph, your guy is a 5th year senior, so Connor has much more time to figure it out. He'll be back here next year.
I don't usually get into pi$$ing matches on this site but I'm sure plenty of other posters would agree that I abide by the post less and read more mentality.
There is only one person who has shown their ass so far.You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....
.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

I'm not only a big fan of Landry's abilities, but also his leadership potential.

Two things from this....don't discount the attention Conner draws, and how that makes everyone else's job easier. Even when he's just out there, he commands a lot of attention.
Secondly, more. 86, 48, 100.

I am not wrong. I expect "more" from Conner. I expect he will get there at some point, but he is not there yet.
So he isn't "there" because his shooting percentage at home? Do you give him any credit for his passing? Seems like he is getting people open shots and to the fee throw line. Do you notice how often our bigs get wide open lay-ups after screening for him? The announcers notice the good pass by Ron and the finish, but have yet to call out why the big was so open.

Besides maybe one game early on where his opponent backed him down a lot, I really haven't seen him as a liability on defense. That game he was guarding a lot larger player. It would have been the same thing if we asked Fred to guard him

I still kinda think Landry is good enough to steal more people's minutes than just Conner. And if he does, look out for this team... Just like when Ron Baker did his thing a few years ago.

We are gauging Landry's game against Charleston Southern and Emporia State. He will be coming back with little game experience, and not nearly at the level of the other players that have been playing in Dec. Jan. and Feb. To expect him to come back like others who have been playing when at this time, he can't even run is a little optimistic. Maybe he can help this team and maybe not but some of you are acting like he has been playing this entire year instead of sitting and watching from the sidelines.

I'm sure hoping the young man can come back and keep all his athleticism. He seemed to be able to jump out of the gym before. That damn screw sometimes... pardon the pun...screws with your jumping abilities. Best of luck to the young man. Looking forward to watching him play.FINAL FOURS:

I don't expect him to come in and light the world on fire. Just give us 10-15 minutes of strong, athletic defense. I expect him to use his athleticism and BBIQ to get to the rim on occasion. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

Everytime I see "BBIQ" in a post my mind immediately makes it BBQ. Mmmmmm, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, hot links...Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss
