In the tournament, Baker and Fred both play 35 minutes each. Frankamp can handle 10.

I gotta agree with Kel on this one. If he's good to go, I think he's out there. First reason is because if he can cut Baker and Fred to 30 minutes each, that could be saving grace for their legs. Second reason is if we somehow get Seton Halled again and somebody catches a couple of early fouls. Third reason, if he gets in and gets hot, he will play, quite possibly along with Ron and Fred, depending what is happening at the 4. Fourth reason, the experience FVV and RB got during that Final 4 run has been invaluable to their development into the players they were for the undefeated season all the way up to the players they are now. That experience could very well have a similar impact on the future for Landry.

      • I just don't think Marshall will take those two out of the game

Agree with that. In the tough games, studs play 37-40 minutes.

Agree with this, but not all tourney games will be tough (hopefully), and that doesn't account for somebody getting a couple of early fouls.

              Like Fred against Kentucky...

Suppose he will be granted a medical redshirt?

                      Please, don't.

But I tend to agree with what you're saying. Fouls have hurt us in big games during tourney time (Malcom vs L'Ville, Fred vs UK). I'd rather have as many studs at our disposal. From a selfish standpoint I hope he plays again because he was fun to watch and I think he makes the team better.

Oh I won't. That was just to try to appease Doc's idea that this thread should die. lol

I have never been given a redshirt. They always give me the white gowns when i go for medical. I can't imagine those would be good for basketball though.

I received a red shirt for Christmas last year. Nothing special really.

‏@Shamet_Landry11 6 weeks ago today I had surgery. On track to be able to jog in 2 weeks. Still a ways to go but I'm progressing well!
