As this season rolls on, I think we will see that all of our losses are to very good teams during a period of injuries and as soon as our strength of schedule is downgraded by the MVC games, there will be a coincidental 21 game winning streak :)

WSU will finish 27-5 and have countless national articles eating up our story as we return to full form and make lots of noise... Unexpected by anyone who doesn't truly follow the team well enough to have seen it coming.

Maybe a little optimistic, Dave (even for me), but not out of the question.

I said a while back that it's entirely possible the Shocks won't lose to a Valley team this season. It's a lot to ask, and I'm not really expecting it simply because so many things can happen on any given night -- but I wasn't really expecting it in 2013-14 either, and we all know how that worked out. Even last season they only lost two, one of them in St. Louis, and I still think this team is better despite the absence of the mighty Tekele.

I think SIU is showing signs.

It just took THAT long for a good coach to get that program to experience what winning feels like again. I'm not saying they are good yet, but I get the feeling the Lowery era is near its end.
