That's called a 'T' 100 times out of 100 by every official in the country. Every player on the Kentucky team knew it the moment it happened, as evidenced by their reactions.

            • Just heard Lunardi say TxTech could lose to OSU, if not too badly, and still make the tournament.

              • And for any worried about UK getting the short end of the technical stick, you might replay the 10 seconds after Lee was called for a travel. It involved yelling "that's bulls#!+" directly at a ref. Sooooooo....

                • Spiking the ball (it was over head high) is most likely considered taunting. but you will notice: Art. 1. A player or substitute committing an unsportsmanlike act including, but not limited to, the following.

                  • Bradley playing hard and not going away. The Braves have cut the lead to 4 and they have missed 5 of their last 5 free throws. Drake just threw the ball away on an inbound. 61-59 Drake 4:40 to play.

Every thing about that description sounds like what one would expect in a Bradley/Drake shootout, er matchup, errr slapfight.

Not sure about 100 out of 100, but you're probably close. Maybe Aussie refs have more common sense, or maybe they're a little more lax because they're numb after watching Australian Rules Football.

By the way, I wasn't watching except for the last few minutes that happened to coincide with working on dinner, but was Reed Arena that quiet all game? Is it always that quiet, Ricky? I know it's an unfamiliar sport (i.e., not football) and all, but still...
