Either Mullins' plan since November has been to just wait the year out (not the worst plan given his team) or he is an abysmal college coach. He does zero coaching during games, and if the product on the court is any indication, it's still probably more coaching than he does during practices.

I'd tend to go with the latter- I've not seen much of St. Johns this year, but they seem to never make in game adjustments, and look unprepared. It will be interesting to see how things go for Mullins after this season.

He's playing for the first draft pick... Didn't get the memo that college is different. That's gonna be a rude awakening for him :)

Oh and we should see him in the MVC soon, right?

              • Seton Hall wins by one -- on a foul called on St. Johns with 5 seconds left. Once again the refs make themselves relevant in a Seton Hall game.

                • watching Tulsa up by 12 on UCF and wishing we could be part of AAC "West" with TU, Memphis, SMU, Houston, & Tulane.
                  that would be fun

                    • So did Mullin (no s) do something right to help his Redmen -- sorry, I still don't buy the PC Red Storm -- come back, or did they do it entirely on their own? Possibly some premature scoffing here?

No. They are 8-20, 1-14 in league play, 0-11 away from home. An average margin of defeat of over 15. They look defeated pretty much every time they walk out onto the court, and Mullins looks like he's thinking about his post-game meal on the sideline.

When 32 teams (literally half the field) can be considered bubble teams, that's when I'm not worried about the Shockers possibly not making the tourny.

I went off of Lunardi's latest bracket and took most teams from 8-12 range along with who he had as the first eight out.
