However, the difference between a team like ISUr a team like UNI/WSU is BBIQ. That comes down to coaching.

And some of it certainly has to do with the defense, but a lot of it is luck. It's just dumb to take long, contested 2's, fadeaway jump shots and playground style ball as a whole. You're not going to win many games. When you hit the shots, you'll beat most teams.

UNI players are so damn good at just launching themselves with the slightest contact to draw fouls.

It looks like these IlSt players have 100 pound weight advantages and are just shot-putting them out there.

The reason UNI was able to come back on ILS and we couldn't was because they were able to hit their 3s and we couldn't. Also they have a big man that can pass out of the post to an open shooter and we don't.

If this was another team (besides ISUr), I'd feel bad for the 3rd team trying to get in. Not one bit sad if the Redbirds choke it away.

It's probably because Illinois State scored five points in 12 minutes.

If Illinois State did that against us in the second half, we would have won regardless of our shooting.

Muller's a third year head coach. Of course he's not at Jacobson/3G's level.

Marshall won the regular season and conference tourney in his first season; Jacobson in his third.

I'm willing to say they are both better and will always be better.
