Well, I found out I'm staying at the UNI hotel... Booked long ago, so should be fun!! Lol

I stayed at their hotel back in 09. If it's the same hotel I hope you don't suffer from claustrophobia when you get in the elevators. However, the UNI fans knew how to drink and the bar was crazy. They were very nice to us. Of course, that was before WSU relevance.

that was the year the lumiere opened. they were supposed to have the hotel ready in time for the tournament and didn't, we got shoved into some boutique hotel last minute and it was a hole in the wall. We ran their bar out of booze though. That was kind of fun!

Lumiere is fun, we usually spend some time there. You can catch the train to the Scottrade with a short walk from the Lumiere or just cab it. Too for to walk though.

I'm hoping they run a shuttle from the hotel to the arena... Otherwise it's MetroLink!!

I am at the Casino Queen again - 7th year in a row. A 4 day party weekend without the wives. Win or lose we always have a good time. I would like to see back to back regular season and tournament titles. Joe Buck's is a good play for food and drinks. Looking forward to the new party area by Busch Stadium.

Ballpark Village is a great place to go!! Went there a few times before and after Cardinals games... Check out the Hall of Fame and museum if you have the time and are a fan of the team, because it's well worth the $$

Now that the bracket is set, how do you like the Shox draw? Do you think it is tougher/easier then UNI's?

I don't believe it will matter, but it's something discuss while we have to wait a week!

I like our side from a rpi standpoint. We will probably play Missouri state who has the best rpi out of the bottom 4., then possibly ISUR with their top 100 rpi. Even if we get EU their rpi is better than anything UNI will see.

I guess it comes down to, would you rather WSU play ISUr/Evansville or ISUb/Lloyla?

If Doyle is playing for Loyola, it could make UNI's side look a bit tougher since with him healthy, I think they would have been in the running for the 3rd best team in the league.
