A solid game, but I kind of wonder if we could have gotten a better deal out of it. First, we deserve a better game at IBA, and the fact that they already offered it to Utah might say something about how they feel about the 15-16 schedule. (Yes, we could do multiple IBA games, but just please no.)
Second, why are we away first? I thought that is something typically something to be bargained with and considered advantageous, getting the first home game. In our three other big series (SLU, Ala, Tenn) we went there first.

I like the Utah game. Solid team that'll have a solid RPI and resume next year.
I'd really like to see one big name game next year, though. UConn or UCLA would be perfect for that. Memphis is okay if that's the best we can do.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

It's a good game and happy to get it. But I really don't think IBA should have been used as a bargaining chip in this type of game. Utah is a decent program but they haven't been relevant in about a decade. This should have been a straight home and home, finishing up at Koch. We're the ones with the leverage.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.
