I have turned doogie off in the afternoons, listened yesterday to his show just to hear Bob. I don't miss it at all.

And when bandwagoners start using 'WE' and 'my' it annoys me."When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

Originally posted by Shock Therapy View PostNo, everyone starts out as a bandwagon fan. The more the merrier. You can only them hate them when they abandon the team once they start losing. Fortunately for us, Wichita is an anomaly in that bandwagon fans tend to become permanent fans as shown by our attendance numbers even during the lean years.

I averaged the production of Pangos, Craft, Smith and Siva in the games they played against WSU.
Average: 37 mpg, .273 FG%, 14.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 3.25 apg, 3.25 TOpg
VanVleet : 20 mpg, .345 FG%, 7.2 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 2.20 apg, 1.00 TOpg
For 37 m : 37 mpg, .345 FG%, 13.3 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 4.1 apg, 1.85 TOpg
As a note, Fred averaged more mpg (4) than his season average and his point production increased by 3 pg during the Dance.

The thing about this argument that bothers me is the (constant and continued) BCSish bias towards NBA upside and name on the front of the jersey. Or, "I like the ingredients, the recipe or the dish doesn't matter as much.
It's almost as if "I don't care about results, I know how good they COULD be, so that's my team." Much less weight is given to consistency and actually winning.
Now, I do get that if Syracuse and Arizona only played each other, but did so 30 times and both teams were 15-15, you'd be hard pressed to argue they still weren't one of the best teams in the country. And you can take that scenario and apply it (mostly) to a team like KU who has played an extremely challenging schedule.
It still seems to me that some teams are judged on their best performances and their worst are brushed aside, while others are judged on their worst performances while their best are dismissed.
