So if KU works their way into a #1 seed, along with wsu, how do they decide who goes where?

They would likely both go to St Louis and then KU would likely go to Indy and we would go to Memphis.

As of this afternoon, the Shockers #1 Seed is fast approaching the pearly gates of "lock heaven". Three more brackets have been added since last update, now total 93 brackets, with an overall average of 1.18 seeds and we picked up 4 more #1 seed brackets from just a few days ago.

Shockers rank out as:

#1 Seed - 80 times (86.0%)
#2 Seed - 11 times (11.8%)
#3 Seed - 1 time (1.1%)
#4 Seed - 1 time (1.1%)

Their seed projections are horrible, they have us behind Arizona, Iowa St, and UMass in the West as a 4 and San Diego St as a 6 in the same region.

Hard to believe that guy got 68/68 teams right last year...I wonder how he scored on the point system. Last year I got 68/68 for the 1st time ever hopefully I can do it again this year. Last year I correctly projected Wichita State as a 9 seed.
If I had my own site and was part of this bracket matrix stuff since they started it back in 2006 I would have finished 1st, 2nd, 8th, 16th, 13th, 15th, 25th, 34th over the years.

I emailed the guy and asked the following

How can you have Wichita State as a 4 seed ?

That just isn't possible. They are at worst a #2 seed and likely a #1 seed. There is no chance right now they could be a #4 seed with 30-0 record.

Are you projecting them to lose in their conf tournament and end up as a #4 seed or something ? I think even if they lost in their conf tournament they would still be at least #2 seed.

Personally, I'm hoping we end up the #1 seed in the East Region. I guess that would require Syracuse to lose a couple more and then Florida would hopefully be the #1 in the South Region.

For those who've been paying attention, the Shox don't lose on the east coast!!! I'd love to make another visit to MSG to see that Shox repeat what they did in the NIT championship a few years ago, except this time on the big stage!

This might be the first time I have replied to a post of yours. You are truly entertaining and I genuinely appreciate your participation and impact of this forum. I don't agree with all of your takes, but entertaining all the same. I like this post from you however. You appear to have tough skin, which I admire. I can't help, however, to wonder when you'll go back over the edge. Keep lovin the Shockers KC.

Just watched the CBS guys on the Big 10 network and they had WSU as the 2nd #1 seed. The #1 seeds were AZ, WSU, FL, SYR

It was Mike DeCourcy, Jerry Palm, with a professional moderator. They also had Shaheen, who used to be the chair of the committee. Shaheen emphasized that conference affiliation plays no part and a few years ago they removed all conference RPI information from the team profiles.

They said if WSU loses all three games at the MVC tourney, they will probably move to a #2.

They didn't really say that.
