If we get to 25, even 30-0, do you think this team will be adept at handling that kind of pressure? Both from a media standpoint and from the standpoint of just never having lost. In the past, I have definitely felt it took the pressure off of a team to get that first loss, but maybe this team is mentally tough enough to handle it.
I used to think that, but then the thought occurred to me that our undefeated status could be what pushed the guys that extra bit when we were down at MSU.

It's one thing if you lose in the Valley. It's a tough league and it can happen.

But your first loss? Of the entire season? Oh hell no.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

Word. In past years it might have had me uneasy about how they handle the pressure but nahh this team has stones and they'll be fine.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

          • Forbes - "Conference Realignment Strikes Blow To Big East Basketball"

It’s still early in conference play in college basketball but it’s already clear that the realignments will have a major impact on this year’s NCAA Tournament in terms of which teams qualify and the seeding. The two biggest surprises so far have to be the 0-5 starts of perennial tourney squads [...]

What does this have to do with the Shockers? Read the third paragraph.

            Big East, hmph!

Love the line in the article about how "Big East teams could end up winning three different conferences." I'm sorry, once you summarily kick out teams for not meeting your arbitrary criteria (being Catholic), you don't get to claim them as your lineage.

I still want Valpo to petition to join the Big Priest. For the lulz.

The Big East can't play the religious card anymore either. They blew that when they went with Butler. Proving once again, that money is more important then religion to them.

Everyone on this team aside from freshman, and Carter lost in the Final Four. They can handle the biggest stage.
