I don't think he's a liar for stating something that is generally known as true

KU is a better program. Too bad they don't have the best coach in the country right now. All those five star McDonalds players and they still don't have the ranking or record that WSU does. Just think, if Marshall / WSU had KU's current crop of players we would already be 35-0 on a 13 game schedule.
Must be really frustrating to have all that talent, tradition and the best program in the country and be underperforming like they are right now. I can certainly understand why Self doesn't want to play us.

No, I'm perfectly fine with the players 3G brings to the game.

Not sure anybody has posted this yet so here is the latest from Matt Norlander of CBS Sports in his article Conference Reset: Wichita State is clear king in the Missouri Valley:http://www.cbssports.com/collegebask...TZINQ4mdGYiCbA

And one more from USA Today in which Randy McClure, rushthecourt.net says: Happy new year, everyone, and good tidings to all. My bold prediction for the rest of this season is that Wichita State will enter the NCAA tournament with a sterling record of 34-0, the first team to enter the Dance with an unblemished record in 23 years. Way back in 1991, a ridiculously talented UNLV team featuring Larry Johnson, Stacey Augmon and Greg Anthony pulled off the trick on their way to a second consecutive Final Four, and while these 13-0 Shockers are in no way as good as those Rebels of yesteryear, they're in a similar position otherwise.

CBS Sports Eye On College Basketball podcast today has a little on Marshall and WSU. Very complimentary of the program and Coach Marshall. WSU part starts at about the 35 minute mark. Jason King and Gary Parrish gush over Marshall...although Carl "Marshall" working in a light bulb factory comes up. Conversation ends up with KU/WSU discussion.
