I believe that's the first #2 ranking from someone we've received all year. Thank you Mr. Franchuk.
I'll give you 3 guesses at to who had us the lowest (#10)

and lol of course Ron Morris has us #10 and Villanova #5. why not.
It would be nice if they held Syracuse to the same standard since most of this year their SOS has actually been worse than ours but it is hard to complain too much when you are ranked #4 in the nation and one point away from #3.

Nerdy logic alert!!! All mindless trash talkers, please keep your distance…
The following is only meant for a head-to-head perspective for comparing WSU and Florida, with no consideration for ranking them compared to anyone else:
1 Week Ago, WSU had wins over Tennessee and Alabama. Florida did not. Head-to-head: Advantage WSU
Today, WSU has wins over Tennessee and Alabama. Florida does too. Head-to-head: Advantage nobody
Twitter trash talk can be fun. (Congrats Florida! I sure wish WSU had beaten teams like Alabama and Tennessee!)
but…
Logic says that Florida spent the last week effectively striking a couple positive bullet points off WSU’s head-to-head resume. Valid arguments over who should be ranked higher can be made for both sides, but regardless of where you stood on comparing the two teams a week ago, logic dictates that you must improve Florida’s rank relative to WSU’s given the results of the last week. Maybe the gap is just smaller and WSU is still ahead. Maybe Florida passes WSU. Maybe Florida was already in front of WSU and now the gap has widened. We can argue who should have been ranked higher a week ago, but logic dictates that we must admit that Florida gained relative to WSU over the past week.
I would personally rank WSU ahead of Florida today (my opinion) but I would simultaneously admit that Florida gained on WSU over the last week (fact).
Nerdy logic complete. You may now unleash the trash talkers to pillage as they see fit.

Now since it is Syracuse they might ignore the stats, but they will have them as ammunition.
Do we hear anyone questioning Syracuse' schedule?Basketball Season Tix since '77-78 . . . . . . Baseball Season Tix since '88
