Agreed. I think it is pretty easy to make reasonable arguments for WSU to be ranked anywhere from about 6th to about 20th. The issue I have is the folks that slot WSU 18-25 for no reason other than the name on the jersey. Luckily those folks (I'm looking at you, delta bravo Pitt writer) are getting drowned out more and more.

To be fair, I don't think anyone knows where to rank North Carolina right now. They'll probably beat Kentucky and then lose to Texas.

      • Tom Keegan was on Keetzmans show today. When asked about KU's SOS he made the comment that they should schedule WSU home and home to guarantee a strong SOS. You may not want to wade through all of the KU talk to hear 10 seconds of love for the Shocks but here is a link.....
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

          • Maybe if WSU beats Tennessee and KU loses, WSU could "move up" to 15 in the rankings
and KU "fall" to 10 in the rankings.

ORU lost at home to MSU which will help us eventually but hurts us now. Don't know how our other opponents did let alone our opponents opponents.

And don't forget, aside from everything else, we should gain 15 or so free 'poll points' if that numskull Keegan remembers to put us on his ballot this week!

Keegan apoligized on this board and in his column and spports KU playing the Shox.

Not deserving of the name calling. Having said that, I am sure other voters eill be deserving of your wrath. :-)

I agree with joco and do not know what else the gentleman could have done. He went above and beyond in my book.
