It's a little unusual to have a 4 spot gap for teams from one poll to another.

Nova and UConn probably have cases to be ranked ahead of us, based on their total resumes, but if the situation was reversed and if WSU had one of their resumes, would we have jumped UConn or Nova? I doubt it. And that's what I have a problem with.

Lots of odd movement in the AP this week. Oregon beat Ole Miss but dropped two spots. Gonzaga beat NMSU but dropped one spot. UMass won twice (twice!), including over BYU, and dropped one spot. SDSU also won twice (twice!) and dropped one spot. Crazy week.

Not for nothing but that is a benefit. The department can go after "Top 10" money, coach can recruit on being a Top 10 and then turn around and tell the guys playing now that they aren't respected.

Did NOT surprise me that we dropped one spot. Was entirely possible with all of the thrashing around by KU and UK.

But we have alot of company in the head-scratching department this week.

Soren Petro just acknowledged that WSU is now the highest ranked team in Kansas and still not worthy (being sarcastic) of playing KU..

Actually he wasn't, not even close, which makes it even more hilarious. He had WSU at #13. Which completely proves that he had us unranked in an attempt to try and keep WSU below Kansas. And Chickenhawk fans like to say Shocker fans are insecure....

Obviously there is no quality control over this poll, and probably most polls, when this type of biased shenanigan is tolerated. But it is what it is. Not sure if it is funny or pathetic.
