Obviously the odds are wildly overshifted by excitement about Andrew Wiggins -- no surprise there; standard betting hysteria --but what's up with Creighton at just 50-1? Don't they realize you have to make it past the first weekend to have a chance to win the whole enchilada?

Randomly caught jeopardy literally 10 seconds before it got to the the WSU question. Really cool.

The Final Four pays pretty good dividends. You know you're legit when you make Jeopardy.

The odds on ksu reflect them even making the tournament.

Played a little golf this morning and Bob Hull was walking the family dog as we were waiting to hit. I told him he did a nice job this year especially leading the Shocks to the final four. He just laughed and said there was no pressure on him to win so it was easy. What surprised the hell out of me was the other three guys in the foursome started using terms like if WE had beaten Louisville WE would have taken Michigan. There were a lot of WE's being thrown around and I know for a fact 2 of them were K state grads and the other not from WSU. I realized that they were throwing the WE around as Wichitans and that was a pretty cool thing to realize. There are alot of people in Wichita that are proud of the Wichita State University Wheatshockers. Wichita State after all is OUR university for everyone that lives here.

A true EMAW will jump on the bandwagon for any team that even flirts with vistory, but will not endure though much strife.

Of course EMAWs jump on the WSU bandwagon.

EMAWs are used to disappointment. WSU has made two FINAL FOURS since the last KState Final Four. KState went to their very first NCAA baseball Regional in 2009. KState is something like 0-6 in their last 6 bowl games. KState is like the Rodney Dangerfield in the state of Kansas. They are the IlSU of the Big XII. Their campus is ugly, their athletic teams, even when marked with unprecedented KState success achieve nothing, and their future is as bleak as the wind-swept northern plains of Junction City.

Kstate won the Big XII championship in all three major sports this year. I call that impressive.

Are there 3 major sports? Not sure that K State has more support for baseball than track. Baseball at WSU has been a major sport when we have averaged 4500 fans. I'd be surprised if K State averages more than 1000-1500 to baseball.

                          You're partially right.
MBB: Tied with KU regular season, didn't make the Big XII tournament final, and did nothing in the NCAA (as usual)
Football: Won and did nothing in the Bowl Game (as usual)
Baseball: Won, didn't make the Big XII tournament championship game and now faces Wichita State in the Regional. We'll see what happens.

Next year projections: Mid pack in football, mid pack in basketbal.

KState equals EMAW disappointment year-in and year-out.

I know. Can't stand those clowns. They're like the nerd that finally gets asked to The Dance, and show up in a black tux with brown shoes and trips over their shoe laces on the dance floor showing that they're wearing white socks.
For the life of me, I can't understand how anyone can be a kstate fan. Hope the Shockers embarrrass them this weekend up in the "little apple."
