I found I can get away with a lot. I don't know why, but I have only had one comment deleted. Maybe its because they don't take me seriously. I just hate it when the apologizers get rolling. After every post, someone raises a white flag, and says we are not typical WSU fans and he's sorry, blah blah blah.

Like wufan? I think he may share the same bed with MVC Chris..

I have a thought on this subject: How about just be an intelligent poster who is civil, respectful, and not hurtful to others? It seems to me that this approach would garner more respect from conference rivals. It isn't rocket science. Give respect, get respect.

I have no time for them until Evansville fan (whichever one it was) comes up with my money. Also the UNI fan that GUARANTEED me that WSU wasn't going to finish ahead of UNI for at least the next 4 years after they beat Kansas owes me some coin.

Thank you for 1982. I had almost purged that from my memory. What a dickweed that guy was and was it valleychamp or someone other delusional Panther fan with his 4 year promise of domination? (By the way, for the record, since then in Valley play, WSU 30-6 UNI 19-17)

I don't think it was the Chump, because he usually doesn't have enough between the legs to make bold predictions like that. I think it was some other Panther fan who the bit the bullet with that one.

Thanks for that stat. That is a very interesting one. To borrow from ColdSciptTM.... But how can that be????!!! NIU is the greatest program since sliced bread!!! They have the Great Jake and he can win more with less!!!!! Just look at what Northern I. has brought to the Valley, especially in the last 8 years!!!! They are a huge asset and mainstay in this league!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111eleventybillion!!11

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say nobody has a better Valley record than WSU in that stretch. I guess I can understand why WSU was picked 4th in this elite conference.

I don't remember it to be quite honest. I'm sure it was articulate and probably pretty witty. But it could have been forgettable and mundane. Occasionally I make those posts too.

I used to have my issues with MVCfans. I was overexuberant early on and they had to reign me in but after some time for reflection I understand it better now. It isn't perfect but it is still a very, very good site to banter with opposing fans. If we had more WSU fans posting over there I think it would be a better board.

Laugh it up. You'll finish closer to 9th than where you were picked. If South Dakota State can work you over behind closed doors then I think the league will be mighty tough for the boys from Sedgewick County.

Very witty and if it's as accurate as your Chiefs predictions, it should mean pretty good news for those in "Sedgewick" County.

Under the current regime and ideas of MVCfans, that will not happen and will not be allowed to happen.

I suspect that the proprietor of MVCFANS has decided that his little experiment in creating a Utopian conference message board has left him with dwindling traffic and an anemic active membership. He wants to draw more intelligent and creative contributors to his site and perhaps finally understands that a more relaxed administrative policy is the only way to achieve that. Only the weak can happily exist under dictatorship rule.

I have rarely posted over at that site since it started, but as I've seen the reigns relax, I have contributed more. If MVC Chris wants to have a bitchin' forum, he will continue on this path. Nobody wants to see a forum wrecker run wild (MoValley John). But you have to allow smack talk to occur because that is the entire point of sports. It happens on the hardwood, and it happens in the stands. It sure as **** ought to happen on a message board. When a thread devolves into meaningless name calling it should be locked. But posters should never be banned or moderated unless they are clearly trying to damage the forum or making racist statements.

Those of you that have posted over there in the past should try it again. If I am wrong and things haven't changed, then we will all never post there again.

That i why the CSN board is where I go. I et to learn and get input from many other schools and leagues. Also fun when pipe in unbiased opinions.

I hear the mod there is very laid back. And a Shocker fan. But he gets monitored by the overall board owners. He has no dog in the fight.

Having not been over to MVCFans for a while I decided to check it out. Why not just call it I hate WSU fans. Every topic, even if it has nothing to do with WSU soon turns to someone spewing hate at WSU. No thank you, I have better ways to waste my time on the internet. And no it's not porn but that's easy.

Wow, so this is like @ShockerFever:'s Law of Shocker Analogies where every post on a Missouri Valley Conference board will degenerate into a Shocker hit piece. Not to be confused with Godwin's Law that degenerates to Nazi or Hitler comparisons.
