While the guards should feed him, He has the strength and athleticism to be successful even if not fed by the guards. He can become a one man wrecking crew on the boards with his length, span and athleticism. A focus on the boards and a 5-10 ft jumper would put him in a position to go league.

I tell you what these last two background pieces on Quincy and Dalen have been quite heartwarming and also inspirational.

Thank you to Taylor for his work, but the real thanks I think goes to the nurturing of Mama Regina in Quincy's case and Aunt Charmain in Dalen's case.

Where Quincy is today is even more amazing considering where he came from basketball-wise.

To get the gif animated, I have to do this at this time. This is on a computer, not a phone or tablet. I click on the image button (the left red circle), paste in the full URL for the gif image in the URL box, and then make sure you uncheck the "Retreive remote file" checkbox (the right red circle).

You guys are doing way too much effort lol. Just open in safari and put in reader mode. You can read athletic articles that way too. Probably shouldn’t put this out there but oh well

I don't know for sure, but if I were to guess, I believe the coaches and administration encourage it to provide confidence on the team and the fan base. Otherwise, we here on SN would speculate and create rumors that could be destabilizing to the team.

What I’ve also noticed is that there are almost never multiple announcements on a given day. It’s like the coaching staff and administration knows what is happening, they just have it roll out - give each athlete - their day. I notice this on verbal commitments as well.
