I does appear that BB is getting close to being put out to pasture if the current trend continues.Last edited by 1972Shocker; December 5, 2012, 11:52 PM.

Here's the thing ---
If the WCC, among other conferences, gets to have some of its top teams (Gonzaga, BYU) opt out of this event, Creighton and WSu should be given the same option.
ESPN kicking out the CAA because they were mad about the CAA contracting with the NBC sports Network, along with VCu and BUtler joining the A10 and no longer eligible as participants, has weakened this even beyond repair IMO.Last edited by DoubleJayAlum; December 7, 2012, 03:12 PM.

With NBCSports and CBSSportsNet around now, ESPN would be losing out on potential good games if they gave the boot to us and CU. Its not like those games will be around to pick up if they dont choose to right away. This event has to go. Plain and simple. It has run its course. Time for something new. Say a non-bcs showcase with 2 to 4 games played at a neutral site around Christmas time?
