Could have called it "Paul Mills Not Hot Seat But ***** Fest".

      Need a poll..........most likely outcome
      1. Mills serves his 5 years, and not renewed
      2. Mills gets a big money extension past his 5 years
      3. Mills let go before his 5 years is up

The first option will never happen. It's almost unheard of for a coach to coach to the end of his contract unless maybe he's retiring. It has a negative impact on recruiting.

"Lack of talent" wasn't the issue from where I was sitting.

This team doesn't even appear to be "competitive."

Just waiting for our current coach to say something in an interview to the effect of "at our level". Somebody wake me up when that happens. Thank you and goodnight!

                  Zion Pipkin

                  247 - 148
ESPN - N/R (I'm only finding a top 100. His grade seems to probably put him between 110-150 somewhere)
                  Rivals - 148
                  On3 - 140
                  Verbal Commits - 148

                  TJ Williams

                  247 - 225
ESPN - N/R (Based on grade outside of 150)
                  Rivals - N/R
                  On3 - 178
                  Verbal Commits - N/R

I'm not trying to be negative, but when people keep saying two top 150 recruits it sounds better than it is. Is there a ranking site out there that has Williams in the top 150?

I know a couple of years ago Zion was a borderline top 50 recruit. I'm not sure what happened in his development or play that has dropped him so much.
Fair enough. Last time I had looked at TJ he was around 150, and his ranking history supports that.

Where can one find this ranking history? I've only ever seen people claim he's been in the top 150. I've never actually seen it supported.

I will give you that he was apparently briefly inside the top 150 and has slowly fallen about 80 spots in the last year.

Well, I know one thing. The list of schools that were recruiting Williams was way more impressive than Pipkin. I guess they forgot to check the ratings.

There was a passing story a while ago that Mills had to go to the emergency room and get a CT scan. Maybe Mills has other things on his mind other than basketball?

                              Where they?

Pipkin had a list that included Colorado, Houston, TCU, and Washington State.

Williams had Indiana State, Iowa, Mizzou, North Texas, SMU, Tennessee, aTm, and Texas Tech.

I would say they may have had similar interests with the edge going to Pipkin. Houston is the best of that bunch. Probably followed by Tennessee, then Colorado, aTm, TCU, and Tech.

Then when it comes down to visits, Colorado was the best one taken by either.
