Just watched Texas get beat at home by Texas Tech 78-67. Texas Tech likes their new coach from N. Texas State.

Abmas had another good game and averages 17ppg. Easily their best player IMO. Texas did not impress me tonight.

Tech's leading scorer was sued yesterday for $1 million for sexually assaulting a minor during their non con tournament in the Bahamas. Allegations are that a Tech booster bought the players (and the girl) booze. Age of consent is 16 (she is 17) but she was intoxicated and couldn't give consent.

Tech is ok with him playing while they investigate.

All around winning.

As I wasn't watching, I missed the F1 on TCU in the last minute, taking the ball from TCU, giving the cheaters 2 FT (on a flop that even Ben Jacobson questioned) to tie the game with 57 seconds and the ball for the eventual game winner. That's kind of the way I see it. Didn't seem to be any intent and yes it was a Northern Iowa worthy flop

We had much worse than that happen to us in a game this year. The Refs looked at it and decided no foul. If it's a basketball play it's not a foul by my understanding It obviously was a basketball play and just another example of the Refs giving KU calls as they frequently do.

Important to note that North Texas throttled Tulane without two of their best players (Rubin Jones and John Buggs III). North Texas has moved up ~50 spots in Bart Torvik over the past few weeks and now sits at #50.
