I think the most important thing to keep in mind is butts in the seats. Revenue that we missed from the unfilled seats in Koch Arena at every home game this year is likely at least comparable to Isaac Brown's total salary. Just run the numbers: ~3,000 unsold tickets, $10-50 dollars per seat, 17 or so home games per year. That easily gets you in the 7 figure range with some wiggle room.

If you are the AD, and you have a coaching candidate you think can fill those seats, transitioning will pay for itself even with the buyout. If you don't have a candidate you think will immediately make that kind of turnaround, its a fool's gambit.

If something was to happen, there would be rumbling. It seems pretty quiet and there seems to be a media to push the narratives that the team is getting better and it was NIL fault not HCIB with roster turnover.

50 50 I'd say. If he could sign a stud PG in the near future and get firm commitments to stay from KP and JW I would lean towards keeping him

Chris Mack, Adrian Griffin, and Mark Turgeon should be available regardless. I'd even take Will Wade (rumored to be going to McNeese State?!?) at this point.

I will say that IB's turnaround has made me more comfortable if they choose not to make a move.

Pass on Turgeon and hard pass on Will Wade. Honestly rather keep what we have for now and keep eyes peeled for the next right guy.

I’m not sure how I feel. Even with the turnaround he’s had, it’s still not good enough. We haven’t beaten anybody of quality, and smashing the lower echelon means nothing.
