There’s been lots of reasons commented that shed a different kind of light on this fire being worth it, including butt in seats, donor withdrawal, Brown getting hired elsewhere, not to mention the consequences of waiting another year.
also - Saal promised us early, repeatedly, that mediocrity is not going to be tolerated. That we’re going to be a winning team. He sold me on that, so now it’s time for him to deliver. ****ing fire brown and bring a winning coach that doesn’t have to play in to the ****ing AAC tournament.
And to those saying Brown had gotten better recently. Yes, you’re right, I agree. BUT his much improved team still failed to defeat a mediocre Tulane, let alone compete with Houston, Memphis, etc.
So I’m just going to say it again.
Fire ****ing Brown

In an ideal world, Brown takes a job elsewhere.
Not only because it would save $$$ for WSU and they could hire someone that would be a better fit, but because IB is a good man and could be successful in the right situation.
We don't live in an ideal world though. Tough decisions have to be made. The Assman
