Sampson is more attuned to recruiting at the level we'd like to recruit at than many of the other candidates. I think it's more likely he'd get some help from his Dad than have issues recruiting against him.

By that I'm thinking that if Dad ran into a PLAYER at a position Dad didn't need, Kellen would get a heads up.

I listened to him being interviewed, and it sounded like he truly loved Charleston. The weather, the city, everything about it. To sign a contract with a buyout like that you have to have no desire to leave. Somebody once said, "how many hamburgers can I eat". If he was contacted, I'm guessing he said: "Thank you, I flattered but not interested."
