How does the PAC 12 suck any more than the MVC?

Their two teams in the NCAA did virtually the same as the MVC. Each of us advanced one team to the second round and each of those teams lost. In the NIT, the PAC 12 still has two teams in it while all the MVC teams have already been eliminated.

I would love to see a PAC12/MVC Challenge. I doubt if they would ever go for it.

I would like to see us get a home and home going with Ohio University. Come Jim and Eric, let's at least talk about it.

Colorado is probably the only PAC 12 team that would even consider coming this far East to get beat, and even then, Ted knows perfectly well what he would be facing here.

Which, among other things, would be a very warm welcome personally for him.

The problem with the teams looking to start home/home games is they either want someone they think they can kick around or someone that is nationally respected and hope to get a TV deal from it. That kind of leaves WSU out because we aren't a gimme and until late in the year not a media darling.

Hey Royal, It's been a minute.
Getting ready for the Final 4 with Kentucky.
Spoke to someone who would control the scheduling at Manhattan on the 1st day of the tourney
and was specifically told when I asked about their Non Conf Schedule....
24 hour hoops Marathon in New York Sun coming up skyline shots and Wichita State in the building vs Manhattan College.
Kentucky ties run deep over at MC with Coach Mass and Coach Padgett.....
I think it would be a great game National Exposure Wise on that day to be on the docket.

Nice Season this year 2 mid majors in a 5-12 game was tough to deal with when the bracket came out.

Wu, hanging in he's doing well. I won't hijack this thread. One of 2 people who are privy to that 6am information so it's very accurate. Last time WSU played there was the first time I met Coach Turgeon. Fridge went off in front of his home fans. The trio were Juniors that year... Double Digit win. I can honestly say outside of the Kentucky's UNC's, Duke's etc... WSU is in the TOP 10 in terms of Fan Bases going to home games. Hopefully beginning of the season MC can put on a good showing. Maybe Marshall looks at getting another game on the East Coast?

I believe that was the same Manhattan team with Luis Flores that went on to beat Florida in the Big Dance.

Not too excited for a 6 AM game but I'd get up at any time to watch this team play.

Also, I saw WildJay (Patrick Marshall) on Twitter rumor WSU playing in Manhattan as part of ESPN 24 hour thing. Now, that could be just a CU trick to get us disappointed!

Trop, I think that was rumored somewhere on here as well. Something about a game in Brooklyn at the new facility against Manhattan.
