The pdf was linked to in the Eagle article on the contract extension - I'm not sure if it's sitting on one of there sites or the open records site. But I figured this would be a good place to repost it in case people want to see the financials and duties of the AD job (be sure to check out the appendixes as well on the last three pages) - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v6G...JUrbYMs4d/view
Can we make an argument for Section 6.3 "Job Abandonment"? :)

….and institution subsidies adding in as well. NIAR paying for athletics now?

Have no idea how much is due to CoVid but still seems to be a very poor ratio to sustain.

Suprisingly donor contributions didn’t get too beat up during change of tax code.

This is the sort of thing that needs to be on the SSS website.

In case it isn't obvious to others, Darron Boatright was named Director of Athletics on Aug. 26, 2016. The numbers don't lie, and they spell: A Legacy of Failure.

Ummm... lets try to show some semblance of honesty with how we portray the data...

You think our (anybody's) numbers are going to look good from 2020 on? During the worst pandemic in over 100 years? You think BeltTight was pressing palms with our blue-hair mega-donors while they were huddling in their basements?

                    Donor Contributions have dropped -10.8% from $10.65M (2016) to 9.5M (2019)
Ticket Sales increased +13.64% from $4.84M to $5.5M

P.S. It's plausible to think that the Gregg Marshall scandal, which unfolded in Q4 2019 had an effect on the 2019 numbers as well. I mean, I for sure was shell shocked and suicidal. Then Covid hits Q1 2020.
Yeah, not shocking that ticket sales are way down considering we had an entire year of no ticket sales. I imagine the athletic department will rebound a bit after this year.

Do you really believe that? Fans are ditching season tickets left and right and it has zero to do with Covid.

I know a guy that has 12 seats near the court and he's not renewing any of them. We've seen multiple people on here say they're not renewing. I've seen other on FB and Twitter say the same. I have friends who'd talked about getting them but it makes no financial sense right now because they're overpriced for the product we're given. On top of that, it's going to be an entirely new team, which limits fan excitement.

It's going to be another poor year for ticket sales. I don't see sponsorship or other donor givings increasing. Poor product and poor leadership will lead to poor attendance and poor giving.

The Marshall investigation and stuff happened in October/November 2020 and not 2019.

You're getting your chronology all screwed up. We literally won the conference championship a year ago. Yes, people are cancelling their tickets NOW I'm sure. But any cancellations over the last 3 or so years was due to: 1) Marshall resigning, and 2) Covid. End of story.
