    • Same number of turnovers, but has the ball in his hands much less. Not a good argument for him. His game is getting wide open dunks/layups because of a driving guard that dishes or going one on one against another undersized post player while no more than three feet from the basket. He isn't some offensive threat. And when he goes one on three, his efficiency is less than that of a wide open Dexter Dennis three point attempt, and more likely to end up a turnover than when Dex tried to put the ball on the floor.

You are right. Dex then? Pleasant? They were wide open and ready to go off for 20.

        • Maybe the triple team was coming at him because “anybody not being triple-teamed” couldn’t make a shot and therefore their defender didn’t worry about leaving them alone.

It was also coming because they knew Mo wasn't going to pass to an open player and they were more than likely going to force an easy turnover.

One on one he was effective with most match ups. If he was waiting on a drive and dish from a guard he is likely still waiting and someone should probably get him a snack and a gatorade since it will be a while. His shots were mostly of his own making, for better or worse.

2 turnovers a game. Why is there this narrative that he was fumbling left and right?

                • Probably because many consider the horrible shots forced against double and triple teams as good as turnovers so it multiplies the effect of the official count. I'd say the same thing for some of the crap shots that Tyson forced that were essentially turnovers.

But he still led the team in fg%. And I'll wait for the extensive montage of other players drawing attention away and getting these shots that have magically inflated his numbers. Would be fun to see some good basketball.

When your offense is all within three feet of the rim, you should lead the team in shooting percentage. If he didn't force the number of bad shots that he did, he wouldn't have had his lowest shooting percentage of his career to go along with his highest turnover average.

                        • The bottom line is the entire team sucked a lot of times last season. Mo made some boneheaded plays, but he made good ones too. He was elite at drawing charges, but he'd also commit some questionable fouls.

For the future of the team, though, it's best Mo is gone and Pohto gets more PT. I think we lose some on defense with Pohto, but maybe not. I think we gain some on offense, but we'll see.

                              • Really disappointing we're going to miss out on Sidd Finch. He picked up a lot of buzz in the beginning of April and I thought we had brought him in, but haven't heard much on him lately.
