Temple is terrible, we are just slightly less terrible. The eye test.

Neither Mo or Poor Bear are overly athletic or long and both are more the size you would want in a power forward. And these days teams want their power forwards to be stretch 4's. Considering their physcial limitations they actually do okay. Clearly not great but I don't think I would call them terrible. Both certainly have holes in their games but that's the case with just about the entire roster this year. I think we are much better in the post with Mo and Poor Bear than we are with Josaphat and Jaden.
Still somehow this team figures out a way to get it done most games. Not sure exactly how they are managing that. I hope it continues but at this point I can't say I have a high degree of confidence the winning ugly will continue but it might.
A long way to go yet with 8 games reamining on the schedule and 3 postponed games to try to make up with ECU, USF and Cincy. Our only easy win of our 7 wins was the 19 point win over Tulsa at home. We won the other 6 games by and average of 5.2 points with 2 of those going to overtime. Not a huge margin of error the Shocks are working with. With a team that is pretty young and with a lot of newcomers the Shocks should be improving as the season progresses. Not sure we are seeing a lot of that so far. It kind of comes and goes.
I have no idea what to expect from the remaining games, however many are actually played. If all 11 are played the remaining games are:
@ UCF
@ SMU
Memphis
@ ECU
Houston
SMU
@Tulane
@Temple
Make Up Games:
ECU
USF

Need to beat Houston and both SMU games . Only resume building wins left on that schedule.

If every pass to him winds up like dropping the ball into the pit of Calcutta they may not be so eager to throw it in to him. When Mo flashes out to double the ball someone is not rotating and covering the backside cutter. At least today we didn't fooul the shooter EVERY time. Didn't wear the lucky sweat shirt today so the Houston loss apparently wan't my fault after all. Go Chiefs and Go Shocks.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Just got back to Topeka from the game. A little freezing rain in the flint hills. Glad to get home. We made some 3s and shot free throws well. Protected the home court. Need to get a couple road wins this week. Glad to see DD and Trey shoot the ball well. Temple has some talent. They are going to be pretty good next year I believe. Glad the band is back. A little more bit of normal.
