How is it that the big 12 has had virtually no games canceled and the American has had seemingly half of theirs canceled? Same with Big Ten, only one or two cancellations in the last several weeks

The Big 12 does it the correct way and doesn't cancel the game if someone is close contact or tests positive...that player just misses the game. 100% the correct approach. No need to cancel the game for everyone based on 1 player having it.

Nebraska, Michigan and Michigan State all had multiple games cancelled/postponed in mid to late january. State penn had one or two in early to mid january.
