  • Behind us, New Mexico tied with TCU on the road at the half. Already lost to Colorado State this week and could already be dropped out for Creighton.

Temple losing to Saint Joseph at the half.

Saint Mary's and San Diego St both play later on tonight.

Creighton might get into the top 25, and having two Valley teams in there would be great for the conference. The Virginia loss might have been enough to get them into the AP poll. New Mexico's loss might have dropped them out of both, and could have gotten Creighton into the Coach's as well. If NM loses again tonight, they're definitely out.

I think we could realistically be #14 on Monday, with Creighton #23. Beating a ranked Creighton team in the Valley tourney would be very nice.

Their second loss of the week. At Colorado State is understandable. But losing by 19 at TCU is not good. I think @ShockerFever: has a New Mexico buddy that he may send a message to about this.

          • Temple falls 72-82 at St. Joe's. That's one we really did not want.

Shouldn't hurt Temple much at all in the RPI. Road loss to a (barely) top 50 team.

Agreed. I don't think it will hurt Temple's RPI too much.

#20 UNLV did win today at home although Air Force was competitive. Final score was 68-58. My guess is Air Force tried to slow the tempo which I don't think UNLV likes much.

                  • No wonder Big Red fans prefer watching CU in basketball....... with 9:35 in the 2nd, Michigan St 51, NB 21.

Add: Washington trying their best not to dance down 45-35 to Wash St., 11:25 to go in the 2nd.

                    • Nebraska really bingin' it at #6 Micigan State -- not. They trail 21-51 with 9 minutes remaining in the game. That is going to leave a mark.

                      • On Sunday, February 26, games are:

                        Wisconsin (16) v. Ohio State (8)
                        Florida State (15) v. Miami
                        Pittsburgh v. Louisville (17)
                        Indiana (23) v. Minnesota

On Monday, February 27, I think the Shocks will move up at least 2 notches and maybe 4 notches.
