Oklahoma and Alabama dropped behind us after their losses at home. I guess it makes sense on some level. Just surprised we seemed to stay steady after a couple of unfavorable outcomes.

EDIT: Alabama lost at home to NET #148 Vandy (Q3-Q4 loss). That's why they dropped eight spots.

            • I don't know why you guys succor yourselves to bad bracketologists, so I'll leave a good one.

This is where you will find bracket projections for the 2025 NCAA Tournament. At the time of publication (update) the bracket reflects an overview of where the NCAA landscape currently stands. &nbs…

              • As a fan, would you take a guarantee to be an 11 seed and a bye to play a 6 seed this instant? Or would you want to play it out and hope for a 9 or 10 seed (8 seems out of reach unless we win out, including the conference tournament), with the risk of not making it?

I'd take the 11 seed in a heartbeat.

                  • Guess I haven't been paying attention as much but dyamn...there are seven teams...seven teams in the Big-10 with more losses than us that are currently ranked in the Top-25 and all of them are projected to be in the tourney plus 3 more teams from the Big-10.

There are 6 teams in the American Conference that either match or have LESS losses than those of the Big 10 and only 1 team is ranked in the Top-25 at a measly #21 and only 1 team (maybe 2) are projected to be there in the tourney.

I'm not sure what to make of that...but for now...I'm gonna say...

No thank you to an #8 or #9.

I don't need the committee to get cutie again and put us against KU instead of Dayton or SDSU.

                      • If we win our next 2, we will not be a tuesday game.

If we win tonight, I think we're a lock. Win against Tulsa and we are a 10 seed, I think.

Your issue is that you are looking at record only.

This season, I'd settle for a play in game.
