I hope they're enjoying those ESPN Plus games. Talk about big team.
If they win out, their ceiling is an 11 seed with 2 conference losses. If we win out, our ceiling is a 5 seed with 5 conference losses.
They seriously have 1 good win, 2 bad losses and a lot of meh in between. I wouldn't be getting cocky if I were a UNI fan.

Interesting that I'm seeing South Carolina show up in a lot of "first 4-8 outs" on peoples brackets. A few more wins and they could be considered a potential tourney team AND Q1 for us.
They also have a pretty winnable slate of games to finish out the year.

In case anyone enjoys reading about the Wins Above Bubble (WAB) metric, Seth Burn has a great spreadsheet and some great analysis on his site. It uses predictive metrics to subtract the wins an average bubble team would have against your schedule from your actual wins. Seth has used three different predictive sites (KenPom, Massey, and Sagarin) to calculate WAB, and he also has a blended figure on the sheet.

Seth's Blog: https://sethburn.wordpress.com/
His last two posts are on this subject. WAB is the best way to select and seed a tournament where there is, ostensibly, a pool of 321 teams to choose from. Getting into these quadrant records (even though the NET is an improvement over the RPI) allows for way too much subjectivity."In God we trust, all others must bring data." - W. Edwards Deming
