Just a thought. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

i dont think frankcamps ego will let him change schools. i think he feels he's that good. he would have to be a backup to vanvleet, vanvleet is head and shoulders over him, and so is baker. so much for 5-star ratings and super hype

They might worry a little bit about KSU benefitting from that PR hit, but only if KSU becomes more consistently competitive.
Having said that, I don't see him wanting to leave anyway. I see him as another Connor Teahan, who would walkon to KU before taking a scholarship somewhere else.Last edited by jocoshock; January 7, 2014, 11:00 AM.Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

Having said that, the real question is whether he would improve the program enough to spend a scholarship on him. I don't know Frankamp from Adam, so I don't know about his attitude. But if he really is a me-first guy, as big scorers who were acclaimed recruits can often be, and he doesn't play defense, that's not exactly the profile for a Marshall-type player. If he were to come here, sit out next year, get an attitude transplant if necessary, bulk up a bit, and learn to play defense, it's still hard to see him getting much time in 2015-16. Baker and FVV will be seniors; Zach Brown may be a 6-6/6-7 combo guard with a year of WSU experience by then; Corey Henderson will presumably be the backup PG, also with a year of experience; and Rian Holland will be an experienced redshirt sophomore with similar size and reputation as a long range shooter, plus presumably fewer concerns about attitude or his ability to play defense (or else he'd never have been recruited in the first place). So whom does Frankamp displace? And if he's unhappy not playing now, why would that change?
I wish Perry Ellis had come to WSU, and I can see him fitting in well here. I believe both he and WSU would have been better off if he had done so instead of falling for the lure of the Phog. Not nearly so clear about Frankamp at all.
