Wow, the Kreskin of SN has arrived. We mortal peasants have been honored by his mere presence. He knows the outcome before the first pitch is thrown. Simply amazing.
Tell us Kreskin, how is tomorrow looking? 8)

        3. Defense can't give up gifts.

All these things the Shox did not do today.
So what you are asking is for the Shox to play the perfect game tomorrow.

The game wasnt over before it started.
We actually had a 3-1 lead after the first inning.

So technically it wasnt over before it started.

Yep shirley, I'm stupid. That's right everyone, I'm stupid for believing WSU was not going to win the game. Shame on me.

Okay - okay - enough already. Let's start discussing tomorrow's game where SB left off.

The key to tomorrow's game is Capra. He must pitch 6 or 7 innings for us to have a chance. If he does, that means he has done pretty well to keep us in the game or maintain our lead.

Thus far, despite our win the first game, FSU's good hitting has demonstrated that it beats good pitching. We have given up 21 runs in two games - that's not WSU pitching. They got Musgrave's pitch count up and knocked him out early, they got Shafer's pitch count up and knocked him out, this can't happen a third time with Capra.

I think our starters are trying to be too fine with their pitches and not come right at them. This has resulted in a lot of balls and FSU's hitters are too good and won't swing at the bull$hit. This results in walks, high pitch counts and plays right into FSU's gameplan at the plate. However, I do think RM and AS were off their game as well.

Our hitters need to show up like they did yesterday. How many called third strikes were made today? FSU's bullpen is in good shape now. We cannot afford to try to get the pitch count up on FSU's pitchers, they are stacked now so it won't make any difference. Our hitters need to be agressive and swing.

Did I mention that it is all going to boil down to Capra?

                    True.

Look people, all I was trying to express was that I felt we were heavily overmatched in this game, and I did not expect us to win. Maybe I could have rephrased the way I put it. You can take shots at me all day long though..calling me stupid, etc. I don't care, especially when it comes via the internet from people who have no bearing on my life whatsoever.

Florida State has all the momentum right now. We are throwing a guy that has been very inconsistent in his last few starts. Combine that with the awful humidity and the short right field fence that FSU takes advantage of, and I just can't see us winning tomorrow. I give this team props for even beating FSU once, but their bats are too strong, and we have no consistent pitching left. Capra needs to have a good start, but i just don't see it. Let's just face it, FSU is hot right now, our only hope is that their #3 starter is not as good as Capra.

I thought today was our best chance to win...I think Anthony will come out with intensity and focus. I guess I am an optimist ...some people are not..so be it. They are throwing a big right hander tomorrow Geoff Parker

                        21 Geoff Parker..... 4.02 6-2 12 8 0

He is 6ft 3in and 245lbs Identical to Mckeever I believe
1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

I also thought today was our best chance to win. We needed to keep Florida State down and we didn't do it. Now the momentum has shifted, and I'm not sure this team has what it takes to get the momentum back

They won 4 straight away from home against ranked teams. They have what it takes. The question becomes do they have enough talent to overcome what is an exceedingly talented hitting ballclub in FSU.
